WHAT MAKES US YOUR MOST VERSATILE VENUE

The Park on 7 is a specially designed super-versatile Award-Winning venue safely nestled in the upmarket Johannesburg suburb of Hyde Park. Built according to strict JOC safety specs, the venue is fully compliant with all city by-laws and safety regulations.

Backup services include UPS electricity and independent water tank, and there are plenty of 32amp and 63amp sources and power outlets for your technical requirements.

Our interior and exterior venue flow offers comprehensive branding options inside and out, as well as various pre-approved marquee and Bedouin tent structures, easy rain-plan options, 360-degree projectable surfaces and multiple seating and staging opportunities inside.

You also enjoy exclusive access and use of the entire space, with 100 free easy-access parking tickets available for set up crews, suppliers and guests. We can block off nearby bays for VIP guests, and provide plenty of secure overspill parking protected by 24hr surveillance and security guards in Hyde Park Corner. We can also offer the use of a ‘green room’ for VIP guests and artists, and office space is on site for your production or business needs.

Our unique triple volume space is fully soundproofed with professional acoustics, featuring a floor to ceiling glass wall with daylight blinds. There is space for cocktail bars, reception and registration areas and a mezzanine level for breakaways. We are a short walk through the stylish Hyde Park Shopping Mall with its multiple dining and entertaining options to the 5-Star Southern Sun hotel.

As the saying goes, we’ve been round the block once or twice. Our industry experience means that we’ve made meaningful connections with a world of freelance specialists that we can also introduce you to if needs be. These include a range of scriptwriters; graphic designers, illustrators, animators, video specialists, mood board artists and more should you need their help.

In addition, our hands-on owner manager, Leah McCrae has over 20 years experience as an executive producer working with live entertainment, technical staging and lighting, venue design, and event management. Leah is an enthusiastic brainstormer and is always available if you need a bouncing board to help you achieve your vision in our venue.
